Jeannine and family,  We heard of Dick's passing.  A sympathy card was just returned.  We have you in our thought and prayers.  Jerry and Judy
Shelly Klinger Master Gardener friend August 6, 2010

I knew Dick as a fellow "garden geek" through the Master Gardener office, and as a volunteer at Richland in the greenhouses.  He was a great addition to the gardening world, and to the world of everyone that knew him, as well.  Thanks, Dick, for the memories.  God Bless you and your family during this trying time.

Dear Lynn and family, we are so sorry to hear about the loss of your dad.  We are leaving town tonight and won't be back until Sun., but our thoughts and love are with you.  You, Steve and the girls have always had a special place in our hearts and remember your dad is in a better place with no suffering.  If you need anything please call us.
Robert P. Grotts Scoutmaster August 5, 2010
Our family is sorry to hear about the loss of your loved one.  We never knew Dick, but we know his family in Pana.  I have two of his grandsons in our Boy Scout Troop and their father Chuck is an Asst. Scoutmaster.  Dick's legacy will live on in the lives of his son Chuck and grandsons Charlie and Mick.  Well done thy good and faithful servant!
Terry Douglass Grant friend August 4, 2010
My husband, Ron, and I are so sorry for your loss.  I remember meeting Dick several times during the time Jeanine and I  worked together at Centennial.  Most recently, Ron and I enjoyed Dick's company while riding the Millikin fan bus to cheer the women's basketball team on to a national title.  What fun we all had.
Don McGee Classmate August 2, 2010

Sorry to learn of Dick’s passing. He was a very helpful and well respected high school classmate. I have pleasant memories of the several classes we shared together and the good times we had in band. He will be missed not only as a person but also for the many outstanding professional contributions he made.
